Enjoy behind-the-scenes access for less than the price of a Stalls seat. As a Friend, you'll get firsthand experience of working dress rehearsals - you can watch how directors, cast and crew create the polished performance before the first night. (Please note: performance ticket purchase is necessary). At an annual Friends' reception, you'll get the chance to meet senior members of the Company. You'll receive exclusive interviews, the latest offers and background information on forthcoming operas in our newsletter, ON Line. And you'll have the opportunity to take great trips with likeminded people, as our Friends travel together to some of the greatest opera houses in the world.

The Friends of Opera North is a registered charity which has contributed over three quarters of a million pounds for new productions, concerts and education projects since it helped launch Opera North in 1978.
