New City Inn Hotel makes a unique collaboration with Opera North Anniversary exhibition.
As Opera North continues its 30th anniversary year, the newly opened City Inn, Leeds hotel, provides a unique and contemporary back-drop for a special celebratory exhibition, recognising the Company’s important relationship with the city of Leeds.
The exhibition features a collection of five costumes and 19 production photographs from across the years. From entry into the hotel, visitors can follow a trail that spans from the foyer into the City Café restaurant, the lounge on the first floor and up to the Sky Lounge on the 13th floor.
It provides an exciting and alternative way of experiencing opera, acting as a window into the immersive works the performances create.
The photographs and costumes on display represent some of Opera North’s award winning productions from the last 30 years, both classic and contemporary. They also fit well with the ethos of City Inn hotels, which have a long-standing commitment to the arts. Find out more about City Inn UK Hotels.
