The Howard Assembly Room opened the new season with its annual art installation and a new and innovative ‘digital street art’ project across Leeds. Read more about the Five Truths installation and Who is Ophelia? on our blog and watch the audience reaction.

Vieux Farka Touré, one of the most celebrated African guitarists, played a one-off gig in the Howard Assembly Room to a sold-out audience.  He wrote a blog ahead of his Leeds visit. 

We discovered this rather fun blog Leeds Playlist and took part with our own playlist that mashed classical and contemporary from all over the company.

 

A season of strong women, Giulio Cesare and Norma were the two new operas for the mainstage, that toured from Leeds to Nottingham, Newcastle, Salford Quays and this week Giulio Cesare on to the great Bord Gais Theatre in Dublin for the first time.
