Teacher Events
 

Opera North is always keen to develop new links with schools and hosts events for primary and secondary teachers to find out more about how they can get involved with our programme.

We offer training opportunities and free downloadable resources for teachers to support the delivery of music and arts activities in school.

Young People



OPUS Out of Schools Programme
 

Two out of school projects aimed at different age groups; 11 - 14 year olds and 14 - 18 year olds. The projects offer young people the opportunity to experience the best cultural events the city has to offer, explore art forms and create their own work.

Work Experience


Opera North runs a range of projects specifically for young people who are interested in the arts. We also offer work experience opportunities and reduced ticket prices for operas at venues across the North.

Opera North delivers a wide range of creative projects and is keen to hear from artists of all disciplines who are interested in working with us.

We are also committed to the training and development of new artists and have a number of training opportunities available throughout the year.


 

Families



Opera North runs projects and events for families and young audiences including workshops and performances.
