In May 2005, Yorkshire Bank faced a new challenge. As they grew and developed internationally, they brought together a senior team of highly motivated, highly skilled executives, some of whom had not previously worked together. Opera North's team worked closely with Yorkshire Bank to develop a workshop that would bring the recently-created senior management group together to work as a team facing an unfamiliar and daunting challenge.

The team was challenged to work under a tight deadline to make a presentation which would inspire, engage and motivate a wider group of colleagues. In other words: working together, they would learn how to sing and perform opera, before writing, choreographing, dressing and performing their own piece to an audience!
