The Howard Assembly Room plays an important role in Yorkshire’s cultural scene with a varied programme of events, gigs, films, talks and world-class jazz acts. Since its reopening in 2009, the Howard Assembly Room has showcased a heady mix of emerging stars and modern masters of jazz including the likes of Robert Glasper, Ravi Coltrane, René Marie, Bill Frisell, and Dave Douglas and Uri Caine.
This Autumn the Howard Assembly Room will continue to build its reputation for welcoming the very best in international and home-grown jazz talent, including leading New York pianist Aaron Parks who will perform tracks from his latest album Arborescence with his trio, and Armenian pianist Tigran Hamasyan, returning to the venue to perform with the Yerevan State Chamber Choir.
Tickets for Aaron Parks and Tigran Hamasyan are on sale now and can be booked at howardassemblyroom.com or by calling 0844 848 2727.
