A Time and a Place: New folk collaboration announced for First World War Centenary Celebrations

A Time and A Place: Musical Meditations on the First World War is a new folk collaboration featuring Becky Unthank, Rachel Unthank and Adrian McNally from The Unthanks, singer-songwriter Sam Lee, and others to be announced.

Inspired by the lives and stories of the generation that witnessed the First World War, this event, which also includes video design by Matt Watkins, will be seen at the Howard Assembly Room in Leeds and the Barbican, London this September.

Co-produced by the Barbican, sounduk, and Opera North, A Time and a Place is part of the Imperial War Museum’s First World War Centenary Celebrations.
