Opera North’s orchestra camp is a holiday project open to anyone aged 10 – 18 yrs who plays a musical instrument.
This project hosts young and enthusiastic musicians from Leeds and the wider area, offering everyone an inclusive and stimulating experience contributing to children’s and young people’s general musicianship in an inspiring and enjoyable way.
Over the course of 5 days, children and young people:
Opera North Orchestra Camp provides a programme packed with fun, play, high quality experiences, and a unique opportunity to work with professional musicians of a world renowned Opera Company. Not to be missed.
|Who:||Strings (violin, viola, cello, double bass)|
|Brass (trumpet/cornet, horn, trombone, tuba, euphonium)|
|Woodwind (flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, saxophone)|
|Percussionists (no prior experience of playing orchestral percussion required)|
Participants must be 10-18 years old. All abilities welcome and catered for.
|When:||21 – 25 August 2017|
|Activities will run from 9.30am-4.00pm each day|
|Participants can be dropped off from 9am and picked up as late as 5pm|
