Schools: Secondary Composition Project
Suitable for KS4-5 music students
This event has passed.
Students have the opportunity to work alongside composer James Garner, soprano Marie-Claire Breen and instrumentalists from the Orchestra of Opera North to develop their own free composition (focusing on GCSE/A-Level music students).
The project will culminate in an online sharing of work, performed by Opera North musicians. Schools can also access instructional videos and learning documents as part of accompanying learning teacher support materials to guide teachers and pupils through the compositional process.
Workshops will take place online using Zoom.
Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis
