Following the success of our Summer Strings Academy, we are pleased to announce the Senior String Academy.

Working strictly within the guidelines for out of school settings and the guidance for the performing arts, the Senior String Academy will provide the opportunity for young people to safely make music together. The academy will delve into the intricacies of string repertoire, ensemble playing and will work and perform with professional musicians and conductors from Opera North.

A relaxed and supportive learning environment will ensure that everyone is appropriately challenged in order to develop their technical and musical ability and will have the opportunity to reflect on their learning with the tutors and the conductor.
