Leenalchi

Leenalchi is a South Korean pansori band with a unique lineup – three female and one male traditional Korean singers, two bassists and a drummer from the alternative rock and pop scenes.

Behind them are their rhythm section, driving the songs forward drawing on funk, rock, disco and more.

Pansori, a style of musical storytelling, originated in the 17th Century and Leenalchi have made the genre their own. The vocalists huge range inhabit all the characteristics of a good storyteller, while weaving around each other with beguiling chemistry – dance music that can keep body and mind entranced.
