This event has passed.

Young people and their families are invited on this 45-minute musical adventure to the Tudor period with early music ensemble Stile Antico.

Explore the life of Renaissance composer William Byrd, what types of music he composed, who influenced his music-making and how he shared his music with others.

Join the fun by singing rounds, exploring Byrd’s Reasons to Sing and taking part in a new piece of music, composed by Kerry Andrew and commissioned specially for Byrd’s 400th anniversary.

At 7.30pm, Stile Antico will perform many of the ensemble’s favourite works, by composers including William Byrd, John Taverner and Orlando Gibbons.
