Sound Bath

with Members of the Orchestra of Opera North

Sunday 1 September 2024

This event has passed.

Experience the power of breath and sound as you are guided on a deeply relaxing journey led by Opera North harpist Celine Saout with breathwork by trombonist Blair Sinclair.

A series of gentle, relaxing breathing techniques take you to a calm, meditative state, leaving you with the feeling of a deep, restful sleep. You will then be immersed in a sound bath, receiving the healing frequencies of the harp, Himalayan singing bowls, gong and quartz crystal bowls.

Sound has been used as a healing medium in various cultures since ancient times, with practitioners believing in incredible benefits including cell rejuvenation, regulation of the nervous system, stress and anxiety relief, increased energy flow and more.

No previous breathwork or sound experience necessary. Everyone is welcome.

Please bring your own yoga mats, cushions and blankets.
