Colin Blunstone is a legendary vocalist whose distinctive, silky voice has defined an era of British rock music. Currently on his Believe In Miracles Tour, he is best known as the lead singer of The Zombies, a pioneering baroque pop and psychedelic rock band. Blunstone has carved out an extraordinary musical career that spans over six decades, blending timeless rock and pop styles.

From the moment The Zombies burst onto the scene with iconic tracks like She’s Not There and Time of the Season, Blunstone established himself as a unique vocal talent. His solo career, which began in the early 1970s, has seen him release 10 albums and collaborate with notable artists including the Alan Parsons Project. His most recent EP, Less is More, released in early 2024, showcases his enduring musical creativity.

This special show at the Howard Assembly Room promises to be a comprehensive musical journey. Audiences can expect a carefully curated set list that spans Blunstone’s remarkable career, including beloved Zombies classics, solo favourites, and potentially some previews of his upcoming album planned for 2026. With a career that has seen him inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and continue performing well into his eighties, Blunstone remains a vibrant and compelling musical storyteller.

Jesse Lynn Madera, born in West Virginia and raised in Houston, is known for weaving vivid, relatable stories into her music. Her piano‑driven songs combine heartfelt lyrics with a genre‑spanning sound that feels both dramatic and ethereal. Critics have likened her blend of inventive flair to the “shapeshifting brilliance” of Kate Bush and the confessional pop of Tori Amos.
