From traditional Scottish folk to contemporary pop, soul, country and jazz, Eddi Reader bridges the past and present with a genre‑spanning sound.

Eddi Reader delivers emotionally rich, intimate performances that evolve with each show. Known for Fairground Attraction’s chart-topping Perfect she has built a solo career that weaves Scottish folk roots with pop, soul, jazz and contemporary singer‑songwriter styles.

Her ten critically acclaimed solo albums have garnered awards and praise for her ability to reinterpret a wide spectrum of material while retaining a distinctive, heartfelt voice.

In recent years she has kept a busy schedule, selling out dates on her “40 Years Live” tour and joining Jools Holland’s Rhythm & Blues Orchestra as a special guest on an extensive UK run.

Beyond music, Reader has also appeared on screen as Jolene Jowett in BBC Scotland’s Your Cheatin’ Heart and as a 1937 jazz singer in Richard Linklater’s Orson And Me.
