Gay Abandon invites you to a night that transcends the traditional concert hall. Dames, Divas and Devilment is a sonic celebration of the queer spirit’s refusal to be quiet, predictable, or dull.

For the LGBT+ community, fabulousness has always been a radical act. In this performance, Gay Abandon honours the Dames, those icons who paved the way, and leans into the glamour of the Diva, because they represent the voice that refuses to be silenced. As for Devilment, that’s the spark of mischief that keeps us dancing through the shadows. We embrace subversion because flipping the script is in our DNA.

From the towering heights of powerhouse anthems to the sharp wit of subversive camp, we are stripping away the “polite” and leaning into the unapologetic. Expect a repertoire that celebrates the beautifully unconventional and the brilliantly defiant.

Whether you are part of the ‘family’ or a firm ally, come and share in the strength of a community that finds its harmony in diversity.

Gay Abandon will be joined by two very special guests:

Naomi Kelly: with words that come out of nowhere and songs on everything from heartbreak to horror movies, their music is a unique blend of indie, folk, and pop, combining to create their distinctly home-grown sound.

Elias Wild: Leeds based Egyptian singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer, and published poet whose work inhabits the fault lines between exile and becoming. Both intimate and cinematic, his songs unfold as cycles of rupture and renewal.
