Audio-Described Performances

Audio-described performances include a live description of the visual elements of the production delivered through a discreet headset. This information is minimal and carefully timed so that it does not detract from the music.

Touch Tours

Our audio-described performances include a pre-show touch tour where blind and visually impaired audience members are allowed access to the stage to touch and get closer to the sets and costumes. Places for the touch tour are free but must be booked in advance.

Audio Introduction

An introduction to the visual aspects of the production is sent to all bookers one week prior to the show as an MP3 or CD (please specify at the time of booking). This information is repeated through the headsets 15 minutes before the start of the performance.

Discounts

Customers booking for the audio description may be eligible for discounts in some venues so please contact the box office in your chosen venue.  You can also then book on the touch tour and reserve a headset.

Large print and braille formats

Large print casts lists are also available on the night, and in braille on request in advance.
