Opera scenes
The Young Artists of the National Opera Studio perform a series of opening scenes from operas by Mozart, Gluck and Beethoven as part of their yearly residency with Opera North.
Directed by the National Opera Studio’s Resident Director, Lucy Bradley, the programme brings together scenes from some of opera’s most beloved works, including Die Zauberflöte, Idomeneo, and Così fan tutte, alongside scenes from Gluck’s Orfeo ed Euridice and Beethoven’s Fidelio.
The National Opera Studio is a world leader in opera training. Based in London, it provides nine months of intensive training to singers and repetiteurs who have the potential to become the leading artists of their generation.
