Hear your favourite music like never before, as the Orchestra of Opera North takes to the stage in the heart of the city. Whether it’s the soundtrack to your favourite TV show or film, or that sporting anthem which you love to chant, this is your opportunity to experience a host of big-hitters played live by over 60 musicians.

From the epic music of Star Wars, Superman and Jurassic Park or that classical piece that makes you go “ohhh, THAT one”, you can look forward to an unforgettable evening for all the family.

The best part? You get to choose some of the pieces we play! Voting has now closed, so book your tickets and come along to see if your top tune has made the final cut.

What should I wear?

Whatever you want, it’s your night! There’s no dress code, so you can go all out or keep it laid-back with your comfiest jeans. We’re hoping for a warm summer’s evening, but keep an eye on the forecast and perhaps bring along a jumper if you get chilly in the evening.

What’s the classical concert etiquette?

There’s nothing special to know. As with all live concerts, just be sensitive to the people around you, and make sure to put your phone away during the performance.

Is this concert seated or standing?

This concert is seated and you can select your preferred seat in the checkout. So, sit back, relax and enjoy a summer’s evening in the city. We also have an accessible raised viewing platform at the back of the main seating area.
