Gordon Stewart, Organist Emeritus, makes his ever-popular annual visit to the Town Hall, bringing his unrivalled knowledge of the ‘Father’ Willis organ’s colours.
He explores Amy Beach’s gentle Prelude, and performs the late Andrew Carter’s landmark Passacaglia and Fugue, written in honour of Francis Jackson’s 90th and 100th birthdays.
