Take part in Opera North’s production of ‘Hansel and Gretel’ for KS2 students, based on the opera by Engelbert Humperdinck and re-arranged for children by composer Will Cole.
Starting with a training session for teachers in January 2027, this award-winning project runs over a period of six months. Each school will receive an in-school vocal workshop led by the Opera North choral team, as well as supporting resources to continue the learning in the classroom, including sing-along videos and activities.
The project will culminate in a staged production where students will perform alongside professional opera singers and the Orchestra of Opera North.
