A band of Leeds Conservatoire alumni blending melodic flair with technical skill, the Jack Pearce Quintet are one of the emerging acts on the UK jazz scene.

Described as “a band about to make its mark on UK Jazz”, the Jack Pearce Quintet is formed around the original compositions of leader Jack Pearce. Their music pays homage to jazz traditions while carving out a fresh, inventive sound, pairing strong, underpinning rhythms with playful melodies and drawing influence from post-bop and 90s world fusion.

Having refined their material through extensive performing and a successful first UK tour, the group focus on an open, interactive live style to create an engaging, rhythmically driven concert experience.
