Opera North’s Artist in Residence follows his acclaimed debut album Anomaly and triumphant mainstage opera Orpheus with a return to his roots in Indian classical music.
As a soloist, Jasdeep’s extraordinary skill and spontaneity on the sitar are given full rein, underpinned by his mastery of the ancient system of raags, the equivalent of western scales.
