Royal Northern College of Music Brass Rosamund Quartet

The award-winning Rosamund Brass perform a Lunchtime Concert of rousing brass ensemble music.

Closing the current Dewsbury Lunchtime Season in style, RNCM students mark the 10th anniversary of Opera North’s brass placement scheme at the College, which gives students the chance to play alongside and within the brass section of the Orchestra of Opera North, both in rehearsals and opera performances. Many have gone on to be freelance players with the ensemble.

Rosamund Brass was formed at the RNCM in 2020, comprising players from Carlton Main Frickley, Hepworth, Rothwell and Wingates. Its members have performed in all the major British youth band contests, and include alumni of the National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain.

The line-up for this concert was previously The Royal Northern College of Music & Opera North Brass.
