Join the Opera North Youth Orchestra for a thrilling performance at St Paul’s Hall, Huddersfield.

The afternoon opens with Montgomery Variations by Margaret Bonds, written as a response to the Montgomery Bus Boycott and based on the spiritual ‘I Want Jesus to Walk With Me’ . Leader of the Orchestra of Opera North, violinist Katie Stillman then joins as soloist for Ernest Chausson’s lyrical Poème, Op. 25. The concert ends with César Franck’s Symphony in D Minor.
