A lively blend of world‑jazz, folk, and Caribbean grooves that offers a fresh listening experience.

James Lascelles’ Talking Spirits, formerly known as James Lascelles’ Quartet, are a London‑based collective of highly respected session musicians. Their repertoire seamlessly blends world music, folk traditions, jazz improvisation, and Anglo‑Caribbean rhythms, creating a soundscape that feels both globally inspired and uniquely their own.

Drawing on decades of experience, the group has worked with some of the biggest names in music, including Frank Zappa, Joan Armatrading, Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry, and many others. This extensive background informs their dynamic performances, delivering polished musicianship and an infectious energy.

They will be joined by special guest vocalists from Caution Collective:

plus support from Zak, The Piano finalist.
