Meet Vox Sambou – a poet, MC, and multilingual performer who sings in Haitian Creole, French, English, Spanish and Portuguese. Based in Montreal, Sambou creates music that’s full of energy and joy.
He is a founding member of Montreal-based hip-hop collective, Nomadic Massive, and started his solo act in 2008. Since then, he performed all across the world. His music focuses on the traditional rhythms of Haiti mixed with elements of afrobeat, jazz, reggae, and hip-hop, always committed to denounce injustices and social imbalances.
