Mmm Ahh Whoosh

Sunday 6 March 2022

This event has passed.

A brand-new jazz-inspired gig for 0 – 5-year olds which will immerse you in a swirling world of colour and take you on a musical journey through afro-centric soulful folk and scat.

Inspired by our first breaths, hums and gurgles, where music, dance and animation combine to celebrate the wondrous world of the language of children. Mellow Baku has performed across the UK and around the world for over a decade. She is a unique and charismatic live performer. Her cultural heritage influences the fusing of soul, folk and jazz improvisation. Join Mellow and her live band to discover the sounds of the song from Mmm to Ahh to Whoosh!

Mellow Baku and The Spark Arts for Children present Mmm Ahh Whoosh in partnership with Attenborough Arts Centre and Warwick Arts Centre.

“I was blown away. Just beautiful!”

“An immersive sound bath. I couldn’t stop smiling the whole way
through.”

“A lot of fun for one of my afternoons with my grandson.”
