Selected Opera North performances are sign interpreted. In our signed performances, an interpreter stands on the stage clearly visible to the audience and interprets the spoken or sung word and sound effects for people who use BSL.
Deaf audience members who are booking for the BSL interpretation qualify for discounts in some venues, so please contact the box office of your chosen venue. When booking for signed performances, the box office will find you seats in the theatre with the best view of the interpreter.
