We are a 10-minute walk from Leeds bus station. Exit the station for George Street. Turn right onto Vicar Lane and continue onto The Headrow. Turn right onto New Briggate and continue until you reach the HAR.
Buses to the centre also stop nearby on The Headrow, Vicar Lane and Boar Lane, all of which are within a 5 to 10-minute walk of the HAR. For the most up to date information on local bus and train times, check WYMetro.
We are a 15-minute walk from Leeds train station. Exit the station for Boar Lane, turn left onto Briggate and keep going until you cross The Headrow. For train timetables, check Northern Rail or TransPennine Express.
By car
Parking is available at several city centre car parks near the HAR:
*Note: although Q-Park St Johns operates 24/7, the lift operates via the St Johns Shopping Centre and therefore is only available during opening times.
All car parks listed above have disabled parking amenities. There are also a handful of on street parking around the city centre viewable on the Leeds City Centre Blue Badge Parking map.

For gigs and events
Doors for the auditorium open 45 minutes before the start of the gig, but you can pop into the HAR bar for a drink before then.

Bags policy
Please keep bag size and any additional possessions or luggage to a minimum. We do not have a secure cloakroom for storing large bags. Any belongings left on available coat rails are left at the owner’s risk.
Bag searches may be in place when you arrive. Please don’t bring in alcohol, hot food or sharp objects. If we find anything illegal, it will be confiscated and the police contacted. We will not be held responsible for late admission or non-admission as a result of this policy.
If you notice or hear anything suspicious that may impact the health and safety of patrons, please report it immediately to a member of staff.
