A respectful, family-endorsed celebration of the music of Amy Winehouse, charting her journey from jazz roots to global soul icon.
A Tribute to Amy – The Amy Winehouse Celebration brings a respectful performance to the stage – a production endorsed directly by the artist’s parents, Janis and Mitch Winehouse, who have praised it as the leading tribute to their daughter’s work.
The show spans the late singer-songwriter’s complete discography. Vocalist Laura Jane Butler recreates the distinct jazz and soul sound that defined Winehouse’s multi-platinum albums, Frank, Back to Black and Lioness: Hidden Treasures.
The setlist features celebrated original hits – including Rehab, Valerie, Tears Dry on Their Own and Love Is a Losing Game – alongside live covers of classic tracks, incorporating the eclectic mix of genres that influenced Winehouse’s own style, from Sam Cooke’s Cupid and Grover Washington’s Mister Magic to Ella Fitzgerald’s Someone to Watch Over Me.
This evening of live music offers a detailed look at the artist’s musical legacy, introducing her definitive songbook to new audiences and long-time fans alike.
