We’re excited to be joining the Piano Day celebrations – an annual worldwide event taking place on the 88th day of the year to correspond to the number of keys on the instrument – to bring you the next in our series hosting Brudenell Piano Sessions. Featuring an outstanding line-up of varied piano music created here in Yorkshire and elsewhere in the UK, hosted and curated by Leeds-based pianist and composer Simeon Walker.
And what a line up we have for you! After a captivating performance here as part of Leeds International Film Festival, we’re welcoming back award-winning, Yorkshire-based Matthew Bourne to the stage. Specialising in piano and keyboard, Bourne has worked with the London Sinfonietta, John Zorn, Nils Frahm and many more – we can’t wait to see what he brings to this show.
Izzy Flynn is a former Leeds student, now based in London. An artist/composer, pianist and vocalist her music is influenced by electronic, jazz and R&B styles, with rich harmonies and memorable melodies.
