David Pipe opens the new season with a concert of works inspired by the variation form.
From Karg-Elert’s mighty 54-variation Homage to Handel to Bonnet’s dramatic Variations de concert, we also hear J. S. Bach’s legendary Passacaglia, itself a form of theme and variation.
Enjoy a pre-concert lunch, served in the stunning surroundings of Kirklees’ historic town halls before every organ concert.
