For part of their yearly residency with Opera North, join the Young Artists of the National Opera Studio for a musical exploration highlighting the contrasting styles and enduring legacies of these two great composers.

Directed by Martin Duncan, and conducted by Chris Moulds, this semi-staged production features scenes from operas including Le nozze di Figaro, Idomeneo, Die Zauberflöte, Don Giovanni, Guillaume Tell, La cenerentola, and Il turco in Italia. They are joined by Jonathan Rainey Reid as Assistant Director.

The National Opera Studio is a world leader in opera training. Based in London, it provides nine months of intensive training to singers and répétiteurs who have the potential to become the leading artists of their generation.

The annual Opera North residency with the Young Artists from the National Opera Studio is generously supported by a grant from the Leverhulme Trust for Art Scholarship bursaries.
