Are you curious about other musical traditions? Would you like to meet people from across Europe in a friendly environment and discover new songs?

To mark World Opera Day 2021, this free online workshop led by Youth Chorus Master Nicholas Shaw will look at folk song traditions from different countries. Why not come and sing along from the comfort of your home?

There will be time for discussion and exchange with people from around Europe and a special opera quiz too!

Workshops are open to singers of all abilities. No prior musical knowledge is required. There will be one session for young people age 11 to 18 and one for adults. Places are limited to 15 per workshop and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
