Sounds of Summer

With the Chorus of Opera North

Tuesday 1 July 2025

This event has passed.

Join the fabulous Chorus of Opera North at the Howard Assembly Room for an evening of light-hearted tunes ranging from madrigals to folksongs.

After the concert, there will be an opportunity to grab a drink and meet the performers.

During the concert the Chorus is delighted to welcome the BBC Leeds Bantam of the Opera choir and their Choral Lead, James Sills, who will join them for a couple of additional pieces. The Bantams are a group of Bradford City AFC fans who are learning to sing opera as part of a challenge set by BBC Leeds for Bradford 2025 UK City of Culture.
