A renowned high-energy, youth-focused event celebrating hip hop culture, performance and participation.

Join in, learn or just watch the best of Leeds Breakdance Youth scene take to the stage to see who can take the crown of Speak to the Streets Champion. Expect to see dancers of all ages battling for the crown of Yorkshire’s finest.

This events brings the authentic charismatic energy of HIP HOP culture for all the family.

Speak to the Streets is an award winning street culture event promoting HIP HOP as a tool to engage and work with the youth. It was founded after the tragic passing of peace campaigner Pat Regan by her son Shane in 2008.

Speak to the Streets has been endorsed by the likes of author Kay Mellor and footballer Micah Richards for its work as both an event and its work behind the scenes engaging with the youth in inner city Leeds.

Hosted by Shane “10 Tonn” Fenton and co-host Phil “Philthee” Hello Hip Hop.
