Lesley Garrett returns to opera
We are delighted to announce the return of one of the UK's best loved artists, Lesley Garrett, to Opera North. Lesley will sing the role of Elle in a new production of Poulenc's La Voix Humaine in February 2013.
Opera North named as regional partner for The Full English project
Opera North has been named as a regional partner for a national programme to introduce a new audience to folk music, song and dance.
It will take part in The Full English project being led by the English Folk Dance and Song Society (EFDSS).
