Family Dance Workshop: Improplay

Saturday 17 September 2022

This event has passed.

Join us for an Improplay dance workshop for 3-7 year olds and their families, accompanied by live music.

The focus will be on improvisation, imagination and play, inspired by live music and led by a professional dance artist – and no previous dance experience is necessary!

Improplay aims to develop awareness of contemporary dance, in particular the craft of movement improvisation and imagination, the use of play and the effects this practice can have on learning and wellbeing within different environments.

Watch, participate, move, dance, imagine, draw, listen and relax in this welcoming environment.

Don’t forget to wear comfortable clothes to move around in, and bring a bottle of water.

Part of the Howard Assembly Room’s Wellbeing Weekend.
