The spotlight is on the wind and string players of the Orchestra of Opera North in this concert of music for small ensembles.

Experience Caroline Shaw’s contemporary string quartet – an ‘exercise in nostalgia’, the youthful genius of Mendelssohn in his String Symphony written when he was just 14 years old and additional pieces for brass.
