Take part in Opera North’s brand-new production of Hansel and Gretel based on the opera by Englebert Humperdinck and re-arranged & re-imagined for children by composer Will Cole and director Roxana Cole.
Aimed at UKS2 students, this award-winning project runs over a period of 6 months.
Starting with a training session for teachers in January 2026, each school will receive an in-school vocal workshop led by the Opera North choral team, as well as supporting resources to continue the learning in the classroom, including sing along videos and activities.
The project will culminate in a staged production where students will perform alongside professional opera singers and the Orchestra of Opera North.
