Opera North Dementia Cafe

Opera North’s Dementia Café offers people living with dementia and their carers an opportunity to enjoy a relaxed morning in the calm surroundings of the HAR Bar which is connected to the Howard Assembly Room (located next to Leeds Grand Theatre).

Come and join us on the first Monday of the month for a hot drink, meet other people and enjoy a live performance given by Opera North musicians and guest artists. Dementia Café sessions are free of charge, all you need to do is buy your drink when you arrive!

We ask people to book a free ticket in advance so we know how many people to expect and can work within the capacity of the HAR Bar. The HAR Bar offers step free access from New Briggate street level. There is a lift from the lower level to access the upper bar level.
