A family-friendly concert for all ages.

A treasure hunt with a tuneful twist! The Orchestra of Opera North needs your help finding some hidden musical gems. Discover different “Tuneful Treasures” as you go, collecting them all in time for the grand finale.

In this relaxed, interactive concert, singing and movement is not just encouraged – it’s expected! Join us to experience the magic of orchestral music up close, whatever your age.

The concert will include Wake up by Out of the Ark Ltd. Have a listen and a sing below before the day if you can!

Sat 14 Mar – Compass Room, Lowry – 1 performance, 3pm
Sat 21 Mar – Boiler Room, Newcastle – 1 performance, 2.30pm
Sat 28 Mar – Albemarle Music Centre, Hull – 1 performance, 2.15pm

 

Immediately following our Sat 7 Mar and Sat 14 Mar concerts in Nottingham and Manchester, make sure to catch the The Orchestra of Opera North performing with award-winning homelessness charity Streetwise Opera. They will be sharing a short opera inspired by Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro, along with a short creative workshop that will get everyone in the room singing and moving.
