How to use my credit online
Log in to your Opera North account.

Choose the performance you would like to attend, select your seats, and proceed to ‘Checkout’.

Once you reach the ‘Order Summary’ section of the checkout, you will see a small check box marked “Use available credit to pay for this order” above the total balance.

Fill this check box; you should then see the value of your credit appear in the ‘Credit’ field, and the total amount to pay will reduce accordingly.

If there is any outstanding balance, enter your payment details to complete your order.

Getting here

The Howard Assembly Room and Leeds Grand Theatre are on New Briggate, approximately 5-10 minutes walk from buses and 15 minutes walk from the train station. Most buses to the city centre stop nearby on The Headrow, Vicar Lane and Boar Lane. Full details of public transport options in Leeds.

Read or listen to our guide notes for getting to and around the Howard Assembly Room and Howard Opera Centre.

At Opera North we’re committed to reducing our carbon footprint. Audience travel is a significant part of this so to encourage more people to ditch the car and use public transport instead, we’ve negotiated some great Green Season deals with bus companies across the region.

If you have suggestions for more ways we can help you to travel more sustainably, we’d love to hear from you at

We encourage staff and audiences to minimise car travel, but recognise that driving to the theatre may be the only available option for some. To help you have a smooth journey to performances, we will continue to offer parking information alongside car sharing and public transport options.

If you would prefer seats with more leg room, we recommend not booking seats on the front row of any level, apart from the Stalls.
