National Opera Studio: An Evening of Mozart

Saturday 7 May 2022

This event has passed.

The Young Artists of the National Opera Studio perform a series of scenes from Mozart operas as part of their yearly residency with Opera North.

Directed by Matthew Eberhardt and conducted by Antony Hermus, this next generation of operatic stars will be joined by the Orchestra of Opera North to perform music from operas such as Don Giovanni, La Finta Giardiniera, Cosi fan tutte & Idomeneo.

Join National Opera Studio’s Inna Husieva for our latest Opera Connect workshop on Thursday 19 May. Alongside Opera North Youth Chorus Master Nicholas Shaw she will explore different song traditions and consider the role of music and the arts in promoting peace and building cross-cultural networks.

The National Opera Studio is a world leader in opera training. Based in London, it provides nine months of intensive training to singers and répétiteurs who have the potential to become the leading artists of their generation.
