Celebrating the stories and voices of local residents over four years, 23 short films capture performances by participants in Opera North’s Community Partnerships Scheme.
Filmed in locations across Leeds including churches, parks, a library and a butterfly house, and with the singers including many with experience of migration, the unaccompanied performances make for deeply affecting viewing. Together, they provide a moving tribute to the power of music.
